Why do people care about movies, they're just people playing pretend on camera and they don't care about you. Why do people like music, they're just sounds played and recorded in a certain sequence and musicians don't care about you. Why do people like eating at restaurants, you can buy or grow your own food that meets your nutritional requirements to live for a much cheaper cost, the cooks and servers don't care about you.

College football used to be much better than the NFL. It is still better but the more it resembles the NFL, the less i like it.
Why do I care about 18 year olds vs pro players? The answer is simple. College kids play with passion and love for the game not their stats and money.
