A 12 can get you in through SPECIAL ADMISSIONS.
Most likely not unless the kid had a high GPA to counter balance it out. You still have to file a petition and get the board of regents to accept it. Neither is easy.

Meaning it is harder for a STUDENT ATHLETE to get into TENNESSEE than vandy or uga.
You're assuming the success rate is 100% which it isn't.

I'm talking the 4th & 1. The right tackle clearly false starts and they totally miss it. I still have it on my DVR and it is "CLEAR AS DAY". The TN players are even pointing at him to let them know. He false started. The final TD fake jump pass. I didn't say there was a false start. I said there was a BLATANT block in the back by #53 on #45 LB A.J JOHNSON. Like I said. You can go on and on. "WE WON TWO IN A ROW, WOOO!!! WOOO!!" all you want. Y'all are a complete embarrassment. I think if I beat a team 5 times in 50 years i'd keep my mouth shut about being the program of the state. That's like TN saying they own UF after winning two straight lol...

You're actually managing to be incorrect a number of ways in a very small post. The question of the 12 on the ACT isn't about getting accepted into Vandy. A 12 on the ACT doesn't meet SEC requirements for eligibility (and likely doesn't meet NCAA requirements for the same). Special admissions can't circumvent SEC and NCAA requirements, just get you into a school. The recruit still would not be eligible to play.
Also, even if Vandy gave special admissions (which they did not as of 3 years ago, haven't seen any article saying whether that has changed or not) for student-athletes, something tells me the requirement is still above the basic admission requirements at UT. Considering the bottom 25% of Vandy's students have at least 32 on the ACT while the top 25% at UT earned at least a 29. I know Vandy has a long tradition of putting athletics before academics, unlike that proud bastion of higher education and integrity in Knoxville, but I question your claims.

could a recruit score a 12 on the ACT but score highly on the SAT and meet the requirement that way?
Yes. You only need one or the other. Both are not required.

Just like last season? Right....

Thought vandy was a great educational school?
It is. That's what makes your claim about their football team and recruiting even more ludicrous.

TN is only 1 of 7 schools that has never allowed special admissions unlike vandy & uga. Truth hurts. The kid got in with a 1 ACT score. Special admissions can get you in without meeting sec standards. It has been happening alot lately. Tennessee needs to even the playing field and allow special admissions. Most of the ELITE TALENT are dumb as a box of rocks.

You moron. Indesputable mean that is has to be WITHOUT A DOUBT CLEAR AS DAY TO OVERTURN. The ball was not in sight. Not knowing where the ball is is not INDESPUTABLE.
If a tree falls in the forest, does it still make a sound? We all know the answer is yes because we can reason. We know that if ACS's arse is at the first down and the ball is in his arms which are NOT behind his arse, the ball is across the first down. That's logic with simple "indisputable evidence" because he's certainly not trying to butt chugg out of the football. That would only be a question for a UT player.
Posted on 2/21/14 at 1:58 am to DoreonthePlains
He wasn't all the way across the 1st down. They had no idea where the ball was at. It was possible the ball was at his lower waist which wasn't past the marker. Indesputable means WITHOUT A DOUBT. No way you can say WITHOUT A DOUBT not know wwhere the ball is. You're being bias.

I love this guy. Too angry to see how dumb he is. Maybe if he just relaxed and breathed for a second, he'd see what a fool he's making of himself. Let's hope he doesn't do that.
