Mizzou was AAU, a requirement for joining the Big Ten, while Nebraska's status was pending revocation. Nebraska has only a small border with Iowa compared to Missouri's with Iowa and Illinois. Mizzou brings the STL and KC markets while Nebraska has what? Omaha?
All of that and Jim Delaney still leapfrogged over Mizzou to take Nebraska.
He had a second chance to look at the Menu and was like "yea, frick that, give me Jersey Shore U".
