this stat has to sting arky alot

we are a passionate fanbase and have been spoiled by our rise to elite again and we have been pissed by the last 2 years. all fans will make and say irrational things but then again we were justified with it considering how we looked so far but its clear we are improving. until we blow something we should win im sit back and enjoy the ride. once we pull another ole miss the negahbt will be back

Correct me if I am wrong, were Arkansas fans on this site not wanting Houston Nutt fired the same year he won the SEC West? Then the year after he won the SEC West he was fired and they rejoiced?

i lurked a little in 07 but yea the arky fans were defiantly not happy with nutt and rejoiced when they fired him the year after the sec west title.

im sure its different somehow and a different standard applies to LSU fans

Don't take it wrong but the LSU fan base is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde right now, undefeated it undefeated. While I understand the frustration Les has to lose for the kind of shite he has caught.

every fanbase is like that especially when you expect alot out of your team and you have clock mistakes happen in 3 of your last 8 games and a offense that was doing nothing until the tenn game.

bama fans got just as upset at points last year of course none called for sabans head.

IMO its the way the coaches carry themselves miles makes it easy to take shots at him and want him fired bc trust isn't in him bc he struggles with interviews and just looks silly on the sideline. you dont believe things are worked on when you see him. Coaches like saban make you believe everything they say and you trust in them. they know how to get people to believe outside of just their teams. its some kinda calming thing they have bc you see them get angry and this and that. Les just doesn't do that and when we make mistakes this makes everyone panic more.

i would say we probably go way overboard at points even more than other fanbases but its not like we are the only ones that can come from wanting to stone a guy one week to praising him or living with him the next

For realz.

Texas, VT, and Bama (first half Ark) -- to name a few -- have probably melted down worse than anything we have displayed; that's with the questionable calls & time management.

idk we melted down pretty damn good not that it wasnt justified plus the one this year wasn't like it was the first time. it wast the 3rd time in 8 games, throw in a struggling o that is holding back the team and what i said about miles not being calming and you get a meltdown.

miles never looks like he gives a frick about how dumb or bad we played in the media while the other coaches do and it makes you feel like they arent satisfied with just winning they want perfection.

Truth.

On the meltdown thing, UT and others gave us a run for our money. There's this Bama site that records meltdowns, and UGA and UT (and others) didn't take losing well at all, specially UT. MY GAWD.

Point is -- like you said -- we aren't special in that we're the only fanbase that blows up over mistakes.
