No way in hell will we ever set another attendance record with the new stadium, even when complete. Place is way smaller and you are losing way more space in the outfield.

Wrong. Outfield is bigger, not smaller. Before renovation there were a few to several feet of unused space between sets of lounge contraptions, now there is just a rail separating each spot.

New grandstands and berms will hold more than the old grandstand and bleachers. Plus the new SRO concourse all the way around can hold thousands.

It'll be interesting to see the numbers MSU puts out next season when Dudy Nope-l is finished.

In 2016 MSU requested pledges for 10-year seating rights for chairback/club level/skyboxes starting in 2019, and they have all sold out. Therefore, starting in 2019 our paid attendance average will be higher than it has been, probably up to #2 just behind LSU. We were #3 last year, 2,600 behind LSU and just behind Ole Miss.

Actual attendance might be a little higher than recent years because of those additional fans going just because they now have season tickets (I'll be one), but actual attendance will still depend on the team winning.

If we have a good year, then the increased season ticket numbers and some big individual SEC Saturday and Super Bulldog Weekend games may help us approach LSU's paid season average, but I think we are unlikely to pass them.

This is an actual capacity number, as in, that's exactly how many green chairback seats are installed at Baum.

If you throw out a number for Left Field seating, which has metal bleachers and a big area for setting up chairs (we sell as General Admission and free student seating), we could probably get 14,000 in Baum, without bullshitting.
