Likewise, lately we've had trouble beating those teams consisently so we're more focused on them as well. As least we agree on something afterall!

If you honestly expect me to believe the Arky fans don't treat the LSU game as the biggest game on the schedule (except for the rarity like Bama this past year) then you must think I'm really stupid

Has nothing to do with the University or any of its programs.

As a fan I root for the Hogs to win every game and I expect our head coach to have them prepared both mentally and physically to win every game. If you are willing to make excuses for your coaching staff then that's your right but to use it as insult that our players 'get more up for the game' is pathetic, especially for a fan of a "real program".

PissAnt, Why dont you go ask Miles and the players if they take Arky lightly. I'd think you would find that excuse you use to be invalid. What you a fan thinks means jack squat.

Whether us Arky fans get up for the LSU game has no bearing on the outcome. It is team vs team on that football field and as of late Arky has been better than LSU on that field.

It's not really something the coaches can entirely control. This happens in every sport at every level. When one team/program/franchise is considerably more accomplished than it's opponent, it's natural for the lesser of the two to take it much more seriously the the other.

So you don't think the general attitude of the town about the team and the upcoming game/opponent has any impact on the psyche of 18-21 year olds? Serious question.

Real programs can handle being everyone's 'Super Bowl' the rest lose and just blame it on that to make themselves feel better.

No, if they are going to come out flat, then they are going to come out flat. Fans have nothing to do with it.

When you lose in BR, do you blame it all on the shitty fans?

Sounds right.

We handle being everyone's Super Bowl pretty well. Our record the last 11 years speaks for itself. But from time to time a team may run off a couple on you. it happens. You can't win every game. We'll refocus and beat you next year.

That's a pretty rare event, but when it happens it's usually because the other team just played better.

I'm not really thinking about 2012 right now but i thought it was pretty obvious that by "next year" I meant "next season" which is 2011.

Either of us trying to venture a guess about what's going to happen in the 2012 game would be really foolish.

Not at all foolish. LSU dicks will call for a win not matter what the year is.
