Vols fans - how hopeful are you about the future?

I would expect any SEC fan base would be hopeful. Tennessee (and I do not like them in any way) has everything they need to be successful facility wise and with support. It will take the right coach to pull it all together. I am not sure Pruitt is that guy simply because of his reputation for not be easy to get along with. You are as good as the people who you hire. If you treat them or the players bad...it will go south in a hurry. We shall see....

I think almost everyone was shocked by the lack of talent given the recruiting rankings but now that we know where we are it's altered things. Nothing but recruiting is going to help us. Sure, I want to see team progress and signs that the coaching staff is helping these baws but more than anything I think we need to hit the recruiting trail.

i was hoping to see more out of the defense more than anything this year. Its still early in the season and saying they wont make progress is a bit premature but i expected more. Our offensive line by recruiting rankings should be good, I have no explanation for why theyre so bad. Its just wait and see at this point. I dont think saban or kirby could do much with our current roster in the first year.
