Just shows what you know. Projection, maybe? Just because that is how you live, it does not mean that's how I live.

There you go again. As I said...my daughter was in the Honor's Program at Georgia
So, she is on scholarship and also uses the Georgia Lottery money? Sorry, but that $5 scratch off you bought does not count as a donation.

How do you think these schools make the most money? Through games at the stadium, or through television contracts. Think about it for a minute, or you just might show your ignorance more.
Donors. Big Jim Haslam gave Tennessee $41,000,000 in one year.
Sure, they make millions on TV revenue. That is just a cheap excuse for, "I'm too broke and lazy to support UGA's team."
CONCESSIONS! You wouldn't believe the profit margins. Schools make millions. 100,000 people spending $20-100 every game.$5 bottles of water and $12-$15 beers add up real quick.

Afford them? yes. But rich people do not overpay for things. That's how you become broke. I would be willing to bet I have a larger, more expensive house than you do. But that doesn't mean I am going to spend thousands of dollars to see two decent football games a year that I can see for free. However, if that is your thing...have at it. I get it. But don't sit there and criticize people that choose to put their money in other places while still enjoying the same you enjoy for a fraction of the cost.

quote:So, not from you buying tickets to the game. Thank you for proving my point.

I believe the word you are looking for is smart. If there is one thing i am not it is broke and lazy. Georgia has sold out all of their home games for years without me buying a single ticket. If enough people stop watching them on TV, TV revenues would crash. I mean, if you would think before speaking you would now game day receipts are probably near the bottom of how they make money. If that is how you want to spend your money go ahead, but it certainly does not make you something special, and if you stopped buying your season ticket, your team would be just fine.

I am also a donor, you idiot sidewalk fan. Have been a donor for decades.
Did you buy a scratch-off today?

Have never played the lottery. Ever.
Why do Tennessee fans get their panties in a wad so much? They are the most VOLatile group on here, going off at the smallest things, calling people names, cursing...they just can't discuss anything without getting their feelings hurt.

You don't play the lottery, but you let your daughter take that lottery money for school. Damn, you freeload all the way around.
