I watched LSU and ole Miss this weekend and these are my take away.
LSU defense stayed in position all game and only had one major breakdown which wasn’t exploited. Sam leavitt started cold the 1st half but passed well the end of the 2nd and all of the 3rd quarter.
Ole Miss secondary is a complete liability and it’s only because Simple Jack couldn’t complete a forward pass in the 1st half that you won. Secondary was out of position all game and had poor tackling. Your QB is special but will not be enough to overcome your defensive liabilities.
It was only the 1st game ClemPson and Louisville are very similar in neither are world beaters but both are mid tier P4 programs.
Ole Miss should improve, but so should every team including LSU.
