UGA Not Worst Team in SEC Basketball

I think that honor goes to Arkansas. They are 2-5 with blowout losses to Louisville, Morgan State, East Tennessee State, South Alabama, & Oklahoma.
UGA beat a pretty good St. Louis team tonight FWIW and are 4-2. Definitely not saying we will compete this year though. It's going to be a year or two to rebuild with our new coach.

SLU is not decent. But you are right when you say the Pigs are the worst team this year.

Well, they aren't horrible like the 2 teams we lost to this year (Wofford and whoever).

They got Britt back tonight. They are without Washington, Fortson, and someone else. But as long as the human foul/turnover is getting lot of PT they will be awful. And as long as Welsh plays they will find ways to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.

Had 5 players suspended at one time.
Played a golfer,couple of walk ons and a qb at the time.
I wish we had all of our players like georgia does.

We kicked a couple of guys off the team who got significant minutes last year and at one point we had 5 or 6 players suspended.
Washington was never suspended, but he is out with an injury. Fortson, probably are highest impact player, is suspended indefinitely.
This team has a LOT of problems right now. Some of these problems will be alleviated if/when the rest of our players get off suspension, but there's no telling when that will happen.
I haven't paid but attention to SEC basketball this year but it would not surprise me if we were the worst team in the SEC.

Don't worry, we're going to catch up with you guys in the L column quicker than you think.
Also, we don't really have any good players on our team anyway outside of Thompkins. The rest wouldn't even start on most teams in the SEC FWIW.

Starting off hot didn't work out for them last year so they're trying a different approach this year.

You're right, maybe we'll go 14-2 in the SEC this year.
