Damn, that does suck. Maybe your idea isn't so bad.

You're right, they shouldn't. He actually ran a 4.61 at a Nike Combine recently.

This guy is clearly going to be the future of Alabama football.

Big time...

It's only April, the evaluation process is still ongoing. He will probably be a three star, nice pickup though. Hopefully we will add some new commitments over the weekend.

Who gives a shite what that goober wants?

This has nothing to do with Auburn. Go hijack an A-day thread.

Not really, according to the Rivals, Scout, and also Clarion Ledger (Jackson newspaper) top 10, and 15 lists. He must be VERY UNDER THE RADAR. I have heard of him, with me being in Hattiesburg, but I actually have seen discreptencies in his weight. I saw one site listing him at 217 another at 265.

State and Ole Miss dont use a TE much in their offense anyway.

I bet it pisses scout and rivals off when Saban gets these type of guys. They have to drop what they are doing and go evaluate him.

I don't think they ever offered him.. But that doesn't mean he can't have them in his Top 2.
The only other offers I saw for him.. Ole Miss and Ms State

Not that I know of, he just said that Alabama and LSU were his two favorite schools.

Saban has only offered 6 TEs. Two 5-stars, One 4-star, One 3-star, and two NRs. I imagine if Saban will take him, he's probably gonna be pretty decent.

Some people that watched his film said it was almost all blocking, so he may not be very polished as a receiver. But at 6-6 and somewhere around 250 and can run a 4.65 and is on the tennis team, he sounds pretty athletic to me.

Since Saban is one of the best evaluators of talent in the business, I will trust his judgment on this one - just like I do every time we get a commit.

Well we weren't looking real good with Jay Rome or Nick O'Leary and that Austin S-Jenkins guy is from Washington, so it doesn't surprise me to get one of the two guys we offered at TE that hasn't been rated.

Faciane, 6-foot-6, 262-pounds, held scholarship offers from the in-state schools of Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss.

His junior campaign saw 11 passes come his way with seven receptions for 149 yards and one touchdown. He also hit a growth spurt during his junior year which he had entered at 6-foot-4, 225-pounds.

Faciane plays for the 'Maroon Tide' of Picayune in a run-oriented offense where he was named All-Coast for the 2009 season.

That may explain some of the reason he was under the radar.

Nope nor did Mississippi State

His only offers before Bama offered him were to Southern Miss and Ole Miss.
