TV networks have too much power over the game.

I hope, one day, the schools figure out a way to claw back power.

When they changed the running clock rules last season, I was beyond pissed off. I know no one else really cares about that... which is a shame.

Of course televising the game brought enhancements, but when it is exclusively viewed as a "product" rather than a national pastime it will die a slow death.

In the grand scheme of things, I actually don't mind the ND decision. They're basically telling the networks you don't get to make money off us, if you're going to screw us (as they see it).

As Bo Schembechler used to say: "Toe meets leather at 1:05, whether the TV cameras are there or not."

If that was the case, ND and Texas are both in

I know, it was given willingly. With complete disregard for the spirit of the game.

Bro TV networks literally change the rules of the game to reduce gameplay and insert more commercials.

Its resulted in teams actually have 1 or 2 less drives per game... that's an insane concession.

The main problem is the people who control college football don’t love college football. They care about making money and to hell with the fans and schools.

Of course they do and always have. Say you hate ABC/ESPN all you want but be glad the SEC is with them in this new CFP era.
