But isn't the SECr the ones who alway ridiculed Les's inability to develop quarterbacks, time management, and guaranteed 2-3 loses per year?

And who's fault is it that the QB position is terrible?

Les Miles football is incredibly boring and minimizes the entertainment value of our insanely athletic team. I spend good money to watch one of the best players in the country run between the tackles every play.
Miles doesn't call the plays at all, does he? There's has to be a better OC out there that can succeed with Miles.

Rebuilt a declining FSU and won an NC

Great QB developer
Great recruiter

Hey, if there are a few SEC Championships runs in there, I won't complain. Hope you're right

There are only two teams that play for the Championship each year and it's not going to be you all the time.
Are there more than two teams that can play Arkansas and Ole Miss to within one score or beat them instead of losing by 17 to both of them? We'd like to be one of those teams.
LSU has had multiple offensive coordinators under Miles. They have had the same results due to his philosphy. I'm with you about needing a home run hire though. Hiring a new coach is always a risk (especially with the record that Miles had). He had a good run, but it's over.

We have gone through 4 already.
It could be Josh Mcdaniels and Sean Payton as co-OC and we will toss dive every series to death.

He has his hands in the play calling.

The SEC Rant where Miles was a joke to every team
UNTIL he gets fired then everyone claims he was great...
8 win season when 3 wins are rent a win is really a 5 win season.
When your staff is getting paid at the top of college football for years why shouldn't you expect results?

Miles calls many plays inside the 20 according to past players and often overrides the OC. His philosophy is instilled in the program and that will not change no matter who is OC.
Who could LSU bring in at OC knowing that Miles would be on a 1 year leash and also know that they will have no control?

-Florida was declining, Miami was a joke, and Bowden was old and way past his prime. The state of Florida was Fisher's for the taking and it's so easy for those school's to recruit there if they are any good.
-But who has he really developed at the QB position?? I mean c'mon, Jameis was refined his Frosh season already. They look awful at QB this year and that's with Golson transferring in and McGuire as the Winston understudy.
-He is a great recruiter, but so is Miles. You guys don't need an amazing recruiter being the only major school in the state of Louisiana.
-Ehhh that's hearsay

I'm sure there are more than a few at lower level school's that would love the chance to coach at LSU, even if they knew it may not last more than a year.

Exactly!
Seems like some people here are scared what a coach who isn't afraid to open the offense up would do with all this talent we have.

Let's be real here. It wasn't BEFORE you played Alabama. You guys were undefeated and had the #1 Heisman Candidate in the history of the world.
Nick Saban made your arse quit (again)

It would be. Typically, Ole Miss has been a mid-tier SEC team and occasionally enjoys some semblance of hope they'll be more, only to be brought down to earth time and time again.
You'll never understand.
You're right. Let me get out my tissue box
