Nope, it wasn't that play, but thanks for bringing it up. The play clock hit zero at the same time the ball was snapped. That's never a delay of game if you understand football...like, at all.
Either way, that pass was called incomplete when it was clearly caught. Just another examples how Ohio State not only beat Miami, we also beat poor officiating.

Imagine if those were actually the playoff games at the end of the year. A rematch of the prior year title game on one side and the Egg bowl on the other. What a time to be alive.

I think everybody at the time knew that there wouldn’t be an Egg Bowl playoff game.
