Yes but southern teams are favored and get the benefit of the doubt far more for the CWS... So fair trade.

Spend time around B1G fans. They'll bitch and moan about how the SEC gets "bullshite media bias."
It's all an issue of perspective. Everyone thinks the media is biased against them.

This has just begun within the last 2 years for football only. Up until then, the B1G still got the benefit of the doubt despite getting their arses handed them prior to that.
