I'm 34 and hit 83 last night in my thorogoods. Yall think I could get some playing time at missouri or somewhere like that?

back in the day, I met a former 10-year military guy who had just become a 29-year-old true freshman walkon defensive tackle at Arkansas Tech


such a great guy and he was so excited


your eligibility clock does not start until you begin college, so he had five years to play four beginning age 29

I love stories like that. There's nothing quite like a regular baw competing with guys who have had a star rating since Jr high. I wish there was a men's league around the river valley area.

This dude was only like 5'11, maybe 255-260, but he was a ten year military MAN, so I imagine he thumped some heads in practice and at least contributed on special teams and lettered

They also make good leaders to the young guys. Young enough to relate the players, but have the real life experience to steer them away from stupid things.
