We are trying to change this culture of mediocrity. Unfortunately, I know that if coach Johnson builds a team that reaches the tournament every year he will leave for a better opportunity than what Bama can give him.

I disagree. Tuscaloosa/UA will support a winning program. There were plenty of huge crowds during the Gottfried/ Wimp era. Why? Because both of those guys won. The hard part is actually building that kind of program to start with.
