He was on LSU's staff in 2003 with Saban when they won the National Championship.
Later joined Saban's staff at Alabama in 2007 and stayed with them through their historic run winning 5 national championships.
6 years ago he leaves Alabama for Georgia and Alabama's program has been on a steady decline ever since and even Saban realized he couldn't win championships without Scott and retired a few years later.
Then shortly after getting to Georgia, UGA wins back to back National Championships. He leaves Georgia and now Kirby keeps getting bounced from the playoffs by less talented teams.
Scott and his magical deer antler spray is the common thread in all of those championship runs

He doesn't want to do S&C anymore, he wants to be an on the field coach.
When he left Alabama and went to Georgia, it wasn't as S&C, it was as special teams coach. That was why he left, Saban wouldn't do it.
He is now the head coach of div 2 team.

His book Skull Session is a great read for anyone struggling with addiction. No troll.

Scotty is a good dude.
He also coached the New Orleans Hornets for a while.
