shoulda coulda woulda don't mean shite arkansas lost to ole miss at home.. in all honesty it wasn't even as close as the score yall got a bullshite onside kick and scored on our PREVENT(you from winning) defense.. woooo.. than your true colors came out and you couldn't score again.. you return all 12 starters from the WORST DEFENSE IN THE SEC.. you like stats? i'll help you out.. Arkansas.. Scoring defense 31.2 (12th in the sec/94th nationally).. Rush Defense 170.8 (12th in the sec/91st nationally on rush defense).. i know what your thinking.. its cause we had such a great pass defense that all teams could do was run.. but wait a second.. in pass defense 204.4 (10th in the sec/54th nationally).. woo!! shut em down huh?? just for shiggles... total defense 375.2 (guess where?? 12th in the sec/ 72nd nationally)... yes i know you will be improved but lets be serious could you get any worse?? come on guys.. we were above and beyond better than you on defense no question.. same this year.. yes you had the 4th best offense in the sec.. but we had the third best... you can point to us losing michael oher all you want.. when you yourself had the worst offensive line in the sec statistically.. dead last in both TFL allowed and Sacks allowed.. AND you lose an all american too!! goodbye mr luigs.. once again i know what your thinking.. WE HAVE A GREAT COACH WHO WILL TAKE US TO AN ELITE LEVEL.. HE IS NOT A SYSTEM COACH BUT INSTEAD A GREAT DEVELOPER OF QUARTERBACKS.. hahahahahahaha.. lets have a look see shall we?? first off i will address the whole quarterback thing.. since he is not a system coach and insted a great developer of quarterbacks.. lets have a look at the number of starting NFL quarterbacks he has produced.. wait.. NONE.. there is not ONE successfull NFL quarterback.. maybe there is a backup out there.. haha NOPE.. even the great Briam Brohm is BEHIND FORMER LSU QUARTERBACK MATT FLYNN in the depth chart.. do not even start to count Jason Campbell cause he wasn't worth shite until his senior year in 04.. sigh.. well maybe its his great success.. wow in his first two seasons at Louisville he went 20-5 and 13-3 in the.. *GASP* Conference USA!! woo!!.. shite he even won it one year congratulations.. personally i like the loss to miami(oh).. where his badass offense put up 28 points on that hellacious MAC D.. than louisville moved on to another great.. the BIG EAST.. woo!!! where they would lose ANOTHER bowl game.. and than go on to beat perennial power WAKE FOREST in the orange bowl 24-13.. what a blowout.. look at that offense.. gosh it must be cause he's a great recruiter.. i mean look at louisvilles success since he's been gone.. HAHAHAHAHAHA.. sorry.. oh no it must be cause he is a great coach.. same reason why he dominated the NFL right?? haha 3-10.. or is it the guts?.. the same ones that told him it was a good move to walk out on his team before the end of the season.. helluva guy lemme tell ya..
And now on to houston nutt.. you say he can't win on the road?? where the hell did he beat florida arkansas and lsu this year?? neutral sites?? oh thats right he can't beat top 25 opponents... damn we went 3-2 vs the top 25.. the faced ALL of the them away from home too.. our two losses were on a last second field goal to wake forest when greg hardy and peria jerry were out.. and than the close loss at bama.. we did however beat Florida, LSU, and Texas Tech.. they were all ranked.. and i know his abysmal record in the sec.. well shite he is 5-3 here right now.. yes its just one season..
and too the idiot who said were irrelevant cause we went 0-8 in 2007 thats funny that was under Orgeron.. in my opinion the worst Coach in the sec the past decade.. helluva recruiter.. bad coach.. my personal favorite is to the guy who is aksing why we think were relevant.. shite we beat you and went 9-4 returning 16 starters.. our offense loses 3 starters (ark loses 3) from a unit that was 3rd in the sec in total offense (ark 4th), 4th in passing offense (ark 2nd), 2nd in rushing offense (ark 10th), 2nd in scoring offense (ark 7th), 3rd in first downs (ark 5th), 4th in sacks allowed (ark 12th), 5th in TFL allowed a game (ark 12th), and 2nd in 3rd down conversions (ark 7th).. i don't even have to post defense cause your just plain stupid if you think your better than us there.. I WILL ADMIT ARKANSAS is going to be a better team.. but for yall to be so cocky is bout damn near comedy.. you have no right to be.. who brought up the historical record against ole miss?? you said historically you will win.. was that it?? yall are up 29-25-1.. i would bet that we make it 26 this year

I was kind of nuetral in the whole arky soap opera that went on.
I was not a fan of the springdale folks at all (Mitch Mustain is a bitch IMHO) and thought Nutt was just as dumb for allowing the crap to go on that did. I frankly got sick of the whole damn escapade.
Nutt's gone and it is over. May the best team win. I actually dont spew much hate toward ole miss.

-Oh pleeease. The game was as close as the score said it was. A phantom PI call won you the game.
-There are only 11 starters on defense, not 12.
-Petrino is a great developer of COLLEGE quarterbacks. Just like Spurrier is.
-Petrino has won a BCS game. Nutt hasn't even sniffed an appearance.

whole heartedly agree to all of that
i don't try to but some of these arkansas fans like to believe that they are somehow better than us because.. well they beat us when they had the coach that we now have..

Houston Nutt was 4 games over .500 in SEC play. That is pretty damn good. Considering that Arkansas was about .350 before houston nutt came along.
