@NATideFan - Exactly! It's not worth it, I'd rather be alone than with someone like that. I'd really rather be with a really good guy who makes me laugh, just haven't found that yet.

As far as relationships go, I want someone that trusts me, tells the truth, and isn't afraid to be sweet. I'm tired of dealing with self absorbed arse holes.

That sucks. I'm sorry. The one that did that for me is married now, and from what I hear, miserable. But still.

You can usually tell that real quick. Does he ask about you, or talk about himself? Does he make an effort to plan things with and for you, or take the lazy "What do you want to do?" route? Is he close to his mama, in a healthy way? And if you go to dinner, how does he treat the waitress - is he nice and does he tip well? How does he act around kids? All good indicators.

ETA: And....is every woman he's ever dated a bitch or a psycho? If so.....well, there's a common denominator in all those relationships - him.

What do you think is a good tip? I do 15% most of the time. 10 for sub par service and 20% for great.

Exactly. There are certain characteristics in men that I just don't want. I hate to argue. A man that gets mad over bullshite is a big turnoff. I hate a lying mother fricker with a passion. I can't stand men that point out my every imperfection. I know I'm not perfect, no one is.

ETA: @wegotdatwood - no, I stayed with him because I thought I loved him. Once I realized he'd always be that way and I couldn't live with it, I left. He was surprised. Guess he thought it gave him a pass.

Posted on previous page. It wasn't the money that got me to stay, that's not who I am. I honestly was in love with him. After I realized I wouldn't be able to spend my life with him, I left.

That's what I usually do, somewhere between 15% and 20% if it's good service. I've tipped more if it was great, or they took care of a special occasion.
