The facade of college athletics came down long ago

If Sankey wants to go nuclear because he is butt-hurt and next level petty, this only hurts him and the conference as a whole. For a while, I thought LSU dying on this hill was silly, but Sankey seems to be a one-upper here. The minute you start giving entire universities the boot because of a select couple of coaches, you have lost what little integrity is left within the sport.

Blatant cheating scandals in the NFL, MLB, and NBA run rampant. Here, we have a case that may or may not even be unfair depending on interpretation of the law.

I’m at the point where I don’t give a shite if there’s a vote and LSU is removed. The idea that this is some way to save college athletics while overlooked similar issues across the landscape is laughable.
