With the new system, it will be more likely for an all SEC national championship game than a non-SEC national champion. Like this year, there would be an Iron Bowl National Championship game since Auburn would be the 3 seed and Alabama would be the 4 seed. Every year there will be an SEC team in the top 4, and as we have seen in the last 7 years, the SEC always prevails over other conferences. I could honestly see the SEC winning the next 10 nattys.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth if 2 SEC teams get in the new playoffs

Except this year's system of rankings will not exist next year. The committee will not have to go by the BCS. However, this year, there likely would have been two teams for the SEC just how the season played out. It will be interesting to see how much the committee wants to try and spread the wealth.
