My family from Scott is actually my in-laws. So tell me, how much did I really reveal about myself?
Excuse me now. I am going to meet a group of better educated people on vacation here to do the New Orleans museum circuit.

Ohio is far superior to that cesspool, Columbus especially.

All of your posts are so thoughtful, insightful and clever.
I have literally never met one person in my life that has been anywhere in Ohio willingly.

Poor Louisiana swamptrash. Ohio is far and away better off than is Louisiana financially. Yall are poor.

Much more than you'll ever know apparently.
Serious question....I have some contacts back home in New Orleans in the film industry. Would you be interested in doing a reality show with your family from North Al. and in-laws from Scott La. who think New Orleans isn't Louisiana enough for them? I'm going to fall off my chair. I swear.

People don't visit Hohio. There are some people stuck there though.

Who said my family was from North Alabama? There is a story from my screen name that I didn't "reveal". And I know several people from the Lafayette area that say similar things about New Orleans.
I love how you look down your nose at the people from that area though. So you are implying that they. Are somehow not responsible for New Orleans hosting Rasslinmania?
This thread was a flame attempt about Louisiana being superior to Alabama because Louisiana hosted these great events, and then you proceed to mock its own residents. No wonder many of the Acadians feel the way they do about New Orleans.

I didn't start this thread , I only jumped in after I about three pages of rednecks piling-on about La. I thought to myself...Why don't I just drop in and rain on their parade. They don't call me BlackCloud for nothing.

Only the folks who don't consider New Orleans to be "real" Louisiana. Growing up in New Orleans we weren't raised with a complex about our Cajun and Redneck cousins form central and North La. We knew they existed, but we were too busy enjoying life to really care what they thought. And to many people world-wide, New Orleans "IS" Louisiana.

You should consider a new screen name then.

I've met lots of them from that area. They probably feel that way because they don't want the state associated with the septic tank of Sodom and Gomorrah that is New Orleans.
I can't imagine why they wouldn't want Louisiana associated with a city with the violent crime rate, poverty, sad and pathetic public education system, corrupt city government, heroin epidemic, and every vice known to man like New Orleans.

You would have to ask them.

Your posts in this thread do not support this.

That's a tall task my friend. But I'll try.
I meet people almost every day that ask me where I'm from originally. When I tell them they always respond passionately one way or the other.
I've just found that lesser-educated people head down to Bourbon St. and don't experience the finer side of New Orleans (too much to list). Well educated people don't hangout on Bourbon St. and piss on the street and throw up all over the sidewalk. Observing your posting style and the shrillness of your attitude reminds me of the former group. I've been around the block a few times my friend.
Hope this helps.

What does that have to do with my in-laws? That was the revealing part supposedly.
I would love to see New Orleans, being a tourist based economy, try to support itself on all the visitors that come here for things other than getting tanked and pissing all over the quarter.

People might stop there if they break down on their way to Detroit to visit the birth place of Motown.
Madonna, ABBA and Donna Summer are in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Enough said.
New Orleans has the National World War II Museum - a museum about real men, not a bunch of overpaid nancies.
I'm just playing along here. All places listed in this thread have some boring/less-than-ideal places to live.

the more you type the more you reveal...I love this.
I bet these people you've talked to from Lafayette don't ever travel to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Miami or dozens of other cities that have International appeal either then. You are just golden my friend. And you have no clue. Priceless.

Let me guess, its the "better educated", nonrednecks that are passionate in a positive way. Amirite?
