Academic finances are irrelevant outside of the fact that LSU kicks back $10M or so a year to the university for educational support. A&M on the other hand is one of the few top 50 AD's that has never kicked back profits to the university.. to the contrary they have been bailed out by the university several times and still hold measurable outstanding balances that in some years they couldn't afford to even make the interest payment.

Aggy AD runs hand to mouth, leveraged to the hilt and barely covers the annual burden at max capacity income.

Before you display that room temp IQ.. the revenue numbers from the last two years are indicative on massive donations that will not be happening again in your life time.

The university that bails out your AD? They'd be broke as frick as well if a certain University in Austin didn't bail them out.
