At the college level it's a no brain, Alabama lost the recruiting war with Tebow and most likely had they secured him Saban never would have been hired in and cS would have gone on to Michigan.

Better question Tebow or Newton?

I bet if Tebow had the same amount of starts Murray had Murray wouldn't be holding the stat leaderboards that he has.

Really? Murray will have passed for over 3,000 yards in each of his four years come this weekend. Tebow only did that once so no way in hell he would break the all time passing yardage with another year. He also would have never matched the passing TD numbers.

You can add up all the passing yards per season that Murray had but Tebow was such a run/pass threat they cannot be compared. Murray has been a great qb at GA but Tebow was an absolute machine. Would take Tebow all day over Murray at the college level. Murray is more suited as an NFL qb without a doubt.

Not even the most hardcore UGA fan would take Murray over Tebow (just like no UF fan would take any of their backs over Herschel).
