In case you forgot.
1) LSU can just say frick out we give and it all goes away right. Not so fast SEC. LSU isn’t the one filing a lawsuit. It’s players that have already been determined by pretty much every court of the country to have an additional year of eligibility because the NCAA fricked up the implementation of the 5 x 5 rule. These players and maybe all the 5 for 5 plaintiffs in the country will sue the SEC, for RICO, antitrust and intentional interference with contract, etc. So who cares right?
By filing this lawsuit, or probably just amending the ones they have filed, with antitrust, civil RICO, torches, and affairs with contract, etc against all SEC schools etc twill give them access to all the communications between the SEC presidents, athletic directors, SIDs, SEC officials, Sankey, big money alumni, sports writers, etc. that had anything to do with this issue.
Of course, that includes emails phone calls, phone records, texts, meeting notes etc. You can only imagine what all will be in that but I will not be good and people will lose their jobs at a minimal. Sankey will definitely be fired, with all those authorized leaks, I would suspect Dellenger will be toast too as well as a few others. Then the SEC are going to be responsible for all lost income plus attorney’s fees plus 3x damages, (RiCO), punitive damages etc.
It’s a big ten wet dream. Not a good option at all.

So some of the other lawyers or you internet geniuses tell me how this stops the players from suing Sankey and the SEC into oblivion? They are not a party to anything in Alabama and the judge has no power to enter an injunction against their civil lawsuit, the are not even in the same federal circuit and Stanley’s disastrous 3 hours of testimony made it not winnable, if it ever was tk began with.
