Better be glad Vandy didnt have a couple of 4 star OL recruits to match up a little better. The OL of Vandy blows badly. It has to rely on finesse way too much.

well, not trying to take away from Vandy, but I had SC winning the East....not going to happen. They just went from contender to pretender, imo. That secondary is not that good....a power team will run on them, they can't pass the ball that well, and the OL is suspect. I know it's just one game, but there were things that weren't just simple, fixable mistakes. I can truly say I'm not that worried about them coming to BR. Curious to see how Georgia responds now....if they also are not where they should be, it opens the door for FLorida and possibly Missouri.

well you know....here is where you and I part....you keep saying bama outplayed LSU in November. Bottom line is they started well, but LSU ended up outrushing them, and after your fast start, LSU outgained you overall through the last 4 quarters. It wasn't our fault your coach kept trying to kick 50 yard fieldgoals instead of trying to pin LSU deep. LSU especially dominated bama when the game was on the line.....I might add, in a hostile environment. I know this was a troll....butmany believe this myth.

No they aren't....no offense to them, but they have a lot of limitations and are undersized for the SEC....this game should definitely be a knock on USC....secondary is horrendous.

I thought it was going to be fairly close anyway (7-10 pts), but yeah, vandy did play very hard.

Vandy always plays somebody hard. I remember in Florida's heyday, Vandy would take them to task, almost every year.

it's early in the season, and vandy is an improved team, so i wouldn't put a ton of stock into the game last night. if i'm a south carolina fan, my concern is shaw staying healthy. against a defense like uga or florida, he's going to get destroyed if he doesn't stop playing so wreckless. the wr's would be a concern for me as well.their defnse isn't as good as uga's or uf's, but it's solid. latimore is coming off a major knee injury, yet he still had 100+ yrds, he'll come around imo. i don't see them winning the east this year, they play uga, LSU and uf back to back to back, and 2/3 of those games are on the road.

vandy had 214 yrds passing, 78 of those yrds came from one play. i'm not saying they have an LSU, bama, uga, uf, fsu, ect type defnse, and yes they have some question marks, but imo they will improve each game, and have one of the best DL's in the country. having said that, south carolina isn't a top 10 team, not by any stretch.

South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt in Nashville early in the season on a Thursday night? How could ANYBODY, considering those circumstances, predict a double-digit victory? That's nearly a perfect storm of "wierd arse SEC football" right there. It's just missing Sylvester Croom and Auburn.
