Football should never move out of Atlanta

The basketball tourney in NOLA seemed like the worst attended SEC tournament I can ever recall. Kentucky was the #1 team in the country at the time too, which should have made it even easier to lure fans there. There are just too many distractions in that town to have multiple games a day. Plus as awesome as the city is it isn't a great central location.

I was in New Orleans during the SEC tourney and I swear there were just as many, if not more, UK fans watching games in the Quarter as there were in the arena. They were having a damn good time, though.

Sort of my point. In Atlanta and other places you will at least be able to keep some of them in the gym during the other games

It didn't help that the Final Four was also in New Orleans that year, so probably a lot of them were betting on Kentucky making it back there.

I know they're going to build a sizeable new entrance lobby, but I hadn't heard about the exterior changing. I would definitely support it.

it was on the pelicans board a few days ago. Some of the season ticket holders got an email with a rendering of the SKC with the outside being grey. I'll see if I can find it.

ETA: here is the link to the pelicans talk thread LINK

Just rotate everything between New Orleans, Atlanta, and Nashville.

Would love.

baseball tourney should absolutely be in Memphis. Beautiful ballpark and a fun city

I live closer to Hoover than I do Memphis, but I would be 10x more likely to go to the SEC Baseball tourney were it in Memphis. Sticking it in Hoover makes it feel like an afterthought tournament. Placing it in Memphis could unleash the SEC Tourney into a must-attend event.

Hell, even Chattanooga would be a better place for the SEC Baseball tourney than Hoover.
