No, the "sources" were saying it was among the guys LSU actually called in for interviews: Cliff Godwin, Mike Bianco, and Jay Johnson. LSU sources never said Vitello was even being considered, quite the opposite actually. That was fan banter and people in Knoxville getting paranoid. Other guys mentioned by actual LSU sources were Pat Casey and Kevin O"Sullivan. Casey was too old and there were concerns of his actual commitment to coach again. O'Sullivan talks died down as fast as they began.
Some of you really need to learn how to separate the bullshite you read on these message board and reality.
