Fair enough. As of this morning Arkansas is 46 based on avg stars and I think 52 on total points. Some of these so-called "insiders" are saying we'll grab some "program changers" in the coming 2 weeks. Who knows. But as long as they sign the guys they have now and add 1-3 more DLM, I'll be very happy with the class. If they strike out on DLM, I'll be pissed about Arkansas recruiting this year.

I'm wondering why we were able to recruit better than Ole Miss LAST YEAR, though? It's not like Arkansas has a 1/4th of the high school talent of OM or the inroads to natural recruiting areas. I ask this completely flame-free. What's the difference between last year and this year for Arkansas recruiting? Is Petrino, all of the sudden, a horrible recruiter? Or is the ability to pitch early playing time just over now due to the youth of the last 2 teams? I don't know. But this is a very down year for Arkansas high school talent. Luckily they've replaced Brishen Matthews with a guy similarly rated out of Georgia. But they're definitely not going to make up the 5 stars going to Auburn.

But Arkansas ending up in the 30's in recruiting wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Most of the guys they are on will actually make it to campus and I KNOW they're not taking character risks. Maybe they're hoping they can get more out of a lesser talent who will work harder. But let's just hold off on slamming Arkansas recruiting until the classes are signed. And, to take it a step further, let's not forget that Petrino has an established record in player evaluation/development that would make me trust him a lot more than some guy from Rivals.

PLEASE, for the love of CHRIST!!! Don't argue with them!!! Don't you know that they're Ole Miss, and they are better than everybody else at everything? ESPECIALLY MSU?!?!?

They're just too awesome! Please don't argue with them if you know what's good for you!!!

You guys beat us by two spots and 50 points.
We both had 8 four stars and 1 five star.
The main difference was that we had more Big time recruits come from Prep Schools than you did. High School recruits are worth a couple more points.

This what I guess happened. Last year Petrino promised a bunch of guys tons of PT and he delivered. He cant make the same promises this year. I also think that Prospects expected more out of Arkansas this year. They gave Petrino a pass for last year, but for some reason expected a better season this year. Maybe the coaches promised them a better season. Anyways, that combined with the lack of talent in Arkansas and Auburn being recruiting D-bags has considerably hurt the Hogs recruiting this year.

I actually hope Ole Miss guys get Colemen just to quiet down all of this Auburn Recruiting frenzy we have been hearing.

The Auburn thing sucks, but I wouldn't count on Coleman going to Ole Miss.

I just don't think it's in the cards.

Hearing that we are going to snag two more 4*'s for sure (Not counting Thompson and Sanders, who our rivals guys are very very confident about)

A surprise or two could turn this class into Ole Miss's best of all time.

Mississippi State guys are VERY confident about him as well. I think he is a toss up 50/50

Sanders has been yalls from day 1 unless Fla State turns him. I think Mississippi State gets Damien Robinson.
