Setting it at 11 or 11.5 is about the only way to get action on both sides for Bama (which is what the bookies want obviously).

So last 13 season if the O/U is 11 and you take the over you either push or win 11 times. You lose 2 times.

They can't set it at 12 obviously. If they set it at 10 or 10.5 too much money would come in on the over and the bookies/casinos would stand to lose too much, which is a risk they don't like to take. So 11 or 11.5 it is because about an even number of people will bet on Alabama to go undefeated or lose 1 or more.
