9 of the last SEC 10 champs from the West, slick.
So you got one good team. How does that change the SEC East being the best side. We are too beat up playing each other. That's why the west wins the SECCG. (Am I doing this right?)

I think the SEC Championship game is a pretty good indicator of who is stronger at the moment.
One team from each? Kind of like a death match?
No. It's an entire season and body of games. You get two auto wins from Bama. Think about that ti would have been like for the west if Bama had not been in the west? It could have been much, much worse.

The East was better than the West last year, top to bottom. The head-to-head games bear that out. The West wins the SEC title game almost every year because Alabama. Being top heavy does not mean overall strength. The crap at the bottom of the West (Ole Miss, Arkansas) overrode the strength at the top (Alabama). The West had been much better in previous years.
I see a 7-7 split in 2019.

Everybody plays 2 teams from the other division. The east won more games last year. east > west in 2018. It is what it is. Yeah Bama won in Atlanta but it isn't like it wasn't a close game of two evenly matched teams. SECG should be used as a tie breaker in this argument. Fans of west teams need to just accept that the east got the better of the west last year and deal with it. There was a shift with the rise of Kentucky, and UT upsetting Auburn, and it was good for the conference as a whole.
