At this point the SEC chant is as much about pissing off opposing teams/fans as it is about conference pride. It's just IRL trolling.

Agreed LOl. I think around 90k were there for it. Was full but capacity changes per game it seems LOL. Always seem to be over it. It was during the good days so there wasn't an empty seat.
The one thing the Swamp does have is how the stadium is designed traps noise because of the steep upward angle of the seats. I read an engineering article about it a long time ago it was quite cool.
Either way...I watch the tide one again..sounds every bit as insane.

I mentioned this yesterday, if you want to have some fun with the people who post on ESPN all you have to do is go to an article on college football, any one will do, and simply type SEC! SEC!. You'll have folks going into convulsions in no time.

That was the first time I ever heard the SEC chant but I remember a lot of people around the conference were pissed Auburn didn't get a shot in 2004.

My first ever Gator game I went to was the 97 UF FSU game. I wished I could of been at the cock block game just to compare. That 97 game was ridiculously loud. I have often heard people that were at both games say that 97 was the loudest game start to finish in the Swamp but the cock block was the loudest moment.

Can you honestly say UCF should have been in the playoffs? Not using the eye test that you do not like, yet knowing UCF is not a power 5 program, do you think they picked the wrong 4?

I love the SEC, but I typically never pull or Auburn, 7SU, or GA. Other than those 3 I say SEC.
