I get that, but tickets to the general public were probably much higher than that, and if everybody (all students) get punished, peer pressure comes out in the future. Nobody would dare try to do that again.

I actually agree. I played WR, and I felt contact was made by both players.
It still doesn't excuse throwing beer cans and water bottles onto the field.

Or the Tennessee player that assaulted two fans two weeks ago. I mean, Tennessee did nothing to him even though it was caught on camera.
