i hope we do. mississippi state has been riding the coat tails of the successful SEC schools for far too long. we'll see to the end of that.

Old Hog fan here and I know how the old SWC was. Arkansas would whip everyone in Track and field and basketball and then battle it out for second place in football and baseball with A&M while the Longhorns ruled the day, no question.
Not to say other schools wouldn't pop up in this or that sport. As for the Aggies, I watched the first Bama A&M football game with some Bama alums and kept telling them they'd have nothing to worry about because Aggy is gonna Aggy but by gosh Manziel made me eat crow. That was an abberration, no doubt but joining the SEC has given them more gray matter and they don't frick up quite as much.
People outside the SEC or never involved in the SWC don't understand that the Hogs were the better program and had a significant lead all time vs the Aggies in football too but they are catching up.

I may have worded it slightly differently but my sentiment would have been the same.
Texas has some good fans ... but their powers that be are pathologically destructive, by nature. From their President down to especially include past and present ADs after Coach Royal. Then there are The McCombs and Moffits and that POS Jamale and Rowling, Rankin and that whole crew along with their puppeted woke BoTs .... it's a cesspool of self serving destructive assholes.
They're going-to try some power move right out of the gate. They'll try shaking their little dicks around under their big belt buckles ... I hope our leadership is ready for what's coming in terms of internal turmoil and seeded discontent from the Longhorn's puppeteers.

Eventually, the SEC network will be rebranded back to The Longhorn Network, as God intended.
Have you guys turned that thing off yet? Or are you still trying to get one more Colt McCoy documentary in?
