Saban should thank his lucky stars he got the chance to coach at LSU, b/c LSU made him... LSU won a NC for him, not the other way around.

C'mon give Saban his due. He's a great coach. I have no problem admitting it.

Why didn't LSU win a NC for Dinardo or Hallman or Archer...?

He is a great coach but he was undefeated in Championship games at LSU..........not so much at Bama.

How in the hell does Bama winning the Sugar Bowl in our own state help LSU?

It strengthens the SEC on the national stage, thus helping the SECC get the nod for a shot at the BCSNCG.

Plus, all the SEC Bowl $$$ are pooled and divided among all the SEC teams. The more our SEC teams win, the better it goes for all SEC teams.

Whoa! Still grieving?

No..I forgive but I will never forget. You don't frick someone in the arse and expect them not to remember. He is a good defensive coach,ok on offense, but a great recruiter. I hold no grief but I will never forget the lies!

The state made NS. Without all the IN-STATE talent NS was able to recruit he wouldn't have won an NC.

I just wish LSU fans would stop being so scared of Saban. I swear the gumps don't have to put Saban up on God's throne. We're doing it for them.

Well, you could also make the arguement he went undefeated in the reg season at Bama and he never did at LSU.

The credit goes to both the players and the coaching staff - including the HC who put together his staff, recruited and locked down LA again and restored a winning program to LSU - who built the program, Saint. That's an undeniable fact.

Hey BAMA boy secscout, you really haven't won anything yet. Lost in the SECCG had to hurt. Utah has nothing to lose and you could end up have a bunch of wins and no hardware to show for it. But, OK, you have Saban. Not everyone here is upset by it. Come calling after the Utah game.

Florida will do this for the SEC. We don't need Bama's help. Also, Bama winning the Sugar here in our state is great advertisement for their program. We're competing against Bama to keep quite a few of our recruits home.

Me neither, coaches move on here and there all the time these days. It's just how it is, contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on. The days of a JoPa and a Bowden like tenure at major college FB programs are probably a thing of the distant past.

Saban did good things for LSU and LSU helped build Saban's rep as a hard-nosed, successful CFB HC. Both have moved on, except for some stragglers.

Those two titles apparently will hold you all for a while (because you wont let go). But you cant live in the past. Can you imagine if JL was to take "your" approach, and dwell on an interception (which one, I dunno, "pic one") he would never move foward. So let the past go, and look ahead to better days. You were champs. Now, youre not.

And you're still not. Noone is living in the past...you think it is a big deal to us he is at Bama and it isn't near what you want it to be. The only thing we were upset with Saban was for lying...YOU want everything to be about BAMA that is why you come to our boards and bring it up!!!
You are still waiting to that SEC Championship Banner.

Actually I post about tiger ball. If Bama is mentioned, it's in response to someone else.
