No. Tubs never coached at TCU. Patterson has been there since Franchonie left. TCU has a Fiesta and Rose bowl victory in the past 5 years, with 2 undefeated season. Now that was in an inferior league when they did that, but when they made the jump to the Big 12 at least they didn't fall completely on their face like Utah did in the PAC 12.

There's a reason why Patterson's name comes up every year in the coaching changes. He's a good coach and fields good teams. He just got caught up in some bad luck this past season. You can call TCU a cupcake all you want but I know some teams that Patterson has fielded down there that would shite down UGA neck and Richt would thank him for it.
