That’s true. Alabama has been very fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time to have had not 1 but 2 of the top 3 or 4 college football coaches of all time spend a combined 36 years (and counting) there. That’s not a knock by the way.

I really believe coach O is getting the ingredients to make something very special at LSU. Can he get it mixed right is the question.

You Keep comparing LSU's program with Bama's which is fine, but trying to convince everyone and yourself that LSU is even remotely close or the next dynasty and that Bama and Saban are over is a Joke at best. Is he slowing down, well yes, who doesn't when your almost 70.The man is still in excellent physical condition and his mind seems sharp still. Compare that to Bryant when he was 69, you could tell he was spent. I don't see that at all with Saban. What's all these numbers and stats you keep throwing around? Seriously is that to make yourself feel better about the situation? Look man LSU just won the national title why don't you go celebrate that instead.I was completely serious with my congrats on the title, so why don't you except it like a man and move on. Not that hard my friend.Friendly ribbing is fun to do and everybody does it, that's what makes college football great. You sir take the whole damn thing way to seriously. LSU has a fine program no question about that but Alabama's is just as fine and better in some cases, just my opinion get over it. I'll throw some numbers around without cherry picking them. These are straight and simple numbers. There's been 83 meetings between the two schools and Bama holds the edge 53-26-5. LSU's longest win streak against The Tide is 5, Bama's is 11. Since Bryant's retirement (1982) oh your going to love this one because it has Bama's dark years in them, and that's when LSU had their longest win streak (5) Alabama still holds the edge 22-15-1. Saban is 10-3 against your beloved Tigers and coach O is 1-6 against my beloved Tide. Im not even going to show championships because we all know who wins that one, even without the bullshite ones. So for the love of God, go and enjoy that title instead of making a fool out of yourself on here and calling everyone names...Dick.

I smell fear.
All kidding aside...With the way y’all recruit, no rational fan can count y’all out. That said, there is cause for great concern. Clempson exposed the formula for beating y’all. Most CFB Teams lack the talent to exploit. There are several in the SEC (you know who they are...) that do. That feeling in your gut? It’s pairity and unfamiliar territory to be sure. Sabah’s arrogance and demeanor is your Achilles’ heel.

Who on Earth believes your 5 titles are honorable?
People despise your cheating University, your filth alumni lead by Scumbag Baby Bear, and the despise you the fans for arrogance
We found the formula to beat that @$$.
No mercy in 2020. You mofos got some serious pain coming.
My numbers show LSU is the winningest team in the SEC since 2000.
And we did it the right way, even with a millstone like Miles.

Since the thread is about Coach Saban and his "decline" at Alabama, why did you pull the year 2000 to compare Bama & LSU.
You pulling the year 2000 out of your azz, of course LSU has a better record... you had Saban as your head coach part of the time, while Bama had Shula.
Starting with the 1st year Saban coached at Bama (2007)...
1. Head to head - Bama leads 10-4 (5 wins @ Tiger Stadium, 1 @ neutal site for the National Championship, & 4 @ Tuscaloosa. The 4 games Bama lost
2. Winning percentage (all games 2007-2019) -
Bama 869% (153-23)
LSU 772% (132-39)
3. Bama has won more games than LSU during Sabans reign; and loss less games than LSU -
Bama 153-23
LSU 132-39
4. AP #1 ranking since 2007 (Saban's 1st year)
Bama - 91 times (5 times ranked final #1)
LSU - 24 times (2 times ranked final #1)
5. NCAA major infractions
Bama - 2 (2009, 2017)
LSU - 1 (2011)
6. National Championships -
Bama - 5 (3 BCS, 2 CFP)
LSU -2 (1 BCS, 1 CFP)
7. Perfect seasons (no losses/ties)
Bama - 1 (2009)
LSU - 1 (2019)
8. Consensus All-Americans (since 2007)
Bama - 35
LSU - 16
9. Players drafted to the NFL
Bama - 99
LSU - 94
10. Players drafted 1st round
Bama - 32
LSU - 21 (Burrow #1 overall)

My feeling in my gut is Alabama still remains a top 3 program. It's LSU that has everything and I mean everything to prove. Bama's done that and still going strong. LSU has to show they can maintain this level for years to come to match The Tide. If LSU can win a few more title's lets say in the next 5 years and maintain 11 or 12 wins seasons in that time frame will talk. All I see from Saban is he fades a little and he reinvents himself and the team, great coach's do that.
