A State/Ole Miss national championship series would result in the National Guard being dispersed in several locations throughout the state.
But considering Mangum is 15-2 against Ole Miss the last four years, they would be a preferred opponent.

I know the rivalry well. We are 16-2 or something like that over the last four years against them. There is no rivalry. Only butthurt Rebel fans. But as I said, most of them know their role when it comes to baseball.
That said, losing to them in the finals would be the most Mississippi State thing ever.

One thing that we endured was the Croom era.
Anybody who endures the croom era should deserve some empathy- even a&m...well... they've been living (or sleeping) that life for about 350 years now, so not them.
But, like they say, the hard times make you stronger, and if there's one fan base that's thankful for a winning season and near impervious to insults, it's us.
It'd shoow be nice to win it all in baseball though. It's what we State fans love the most.

Im rooting for Arkansas. To lose a National Title the way they did last year had to have sucked. So im hoping they redeem themselves.

I think Arkansas is good enough to win it all, and I really like State's chances against the Rebels.....but I'm pulling for the Hawgs today.
