Did you realize they have craft beer bar at the Momma g's near Gay Street? It's pretty cool. Had an awesome Oscar Blues there the other night. And then sat down and drank a pitcher of Yuingling by myself.

It's good, not as great as the first, but has several great songs.

I didn't. I haven't been in Auburn since June, and I haven't been at that Momma G's since well before then.

June? Then it's been WAYYYY too long since you were here, much less since you've eaten at MG's. I would kill for a momma's love and budweiser right now.

There's one thing I can't stand
Is this bar and this cover band …
Trying to fake their way through Castles Made of Sand
There's one thing I can't stand
There's one thing I can't take
It's the sound that woman makes
Not 5 seconds after her heart begins to break
That's one thing I can't take
She should be home by now but she ain't
I should know by now but I can't
Cause one of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine
One of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine

Then her eyes are as big as stars
When I saw you behind the bar
I guess that's the way to keep on smiling where you are
But girl them eyes are as big as stars

It sounds funny when you say my name
It's like you're chewin on a foreign thing
And you won't get to sleep till dawn and feel no rain
You sound so funny when you say my name
You ought to come home tonight but you won't
Wish we knew how to fight but we don't
And one of your friends is taking you in and giving you codeine
One of your friends is taking you in and giving you codeine

Darling I'm not the one to judge
If I was then I'd say you don't look so good
Got no answers of my own, but with you gone this place looks bigger than it should
If there's two things that I hate
It's having to cook and trying to date
Bust their arse all day to play hurry up and wait
That's a few things that I hate
If I call tonight and I ain't drunk
Then this ole boat will still be sunk
Cause one of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine
One of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine
One of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine
One of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine
One of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine
One of my friends is taking her in and giving her codeine.

Absolutely amazing song. Enough so that I couldn't pick out a single part to quote and post.

If I'm not mistaken it's next week isn't it? Regardless, yeah I'll be there. And I plan on being relatively sober for it.

If you want to pregame the basketball game, I'll probably hit up momma g's beforehand. Just give me a heads up so I know how many cups to ask for.
Couldn't fall asleep.. glad I saw this and I might hit you up. I still have your email

I have friends coming into town this weekend and I'm not sure what time they are getting here. I'll be at the basketball game for sure and as of now I don't have plans beforehand.

ETA: My roommate got arrested a couple of week back at that Momma G's for MIP. Be careful hanging out over there. ABC has been hammering that place this semester

He has much better songs than codiene. Although it is a great song, it's not even in his top ten for me. Maybe not top 15.

It's the 30th.

And if so, if you pick up one of these shirts in an XL for ole LCT, you'll be my favorite

Stop fricking Around and Play Outfit Tour

Also, although covers, two of my favorites:

The Assassin

ABC has been rough this year. It's just one of those risks I'm willing to take. I'm not giving up on being able to have a couple of beers at one of my favorite places because of the government robots. But that's a rant for another time. Neither here nor there.

I'm sure I'll be with my other Auburn sports nerd friend that actually loves all the sports. Speaking of, we've ended up sitting by the same group of FH's both exhibition games. I'm pretty sure the only fraternity people there at times are me and them.

He's taken ownership of The Assassin.

His Townes covers (Pancho & Lefty, Tecumseh Valley) and Jacksonville Skyline are up there as well.
