This. I think there is a happy median that could be made by media and pollstees. Run their power projection polls early to feed TV interest and slots. Then have some sort of power rating composite poll. Then, after week 5, run projected finish polls .

The power ratings would still have a bias on the projected finish polls. But, it could help alleviate some of the tunnel vision that voters get locked into in preseason polls.

But, if it's not CFP poll or CCG result, it really doesn't matter anymore.

Vegas set Oklahoma’s win total at 7.5. Year three of Venables and you guys aren’t even predicted to have a winning record in conference play. That’s some Mississippi State type shite.
