I'd like to point out that there are more KKK organizations in both Mississippi and Louisiana than there are in Arkansas.
There are also more people in Mississippi and Louisiana than Arkansas.

Pretty sure it wasn't a school sanctioned event. But rather respectin the constitutional right of freedom of speech in an open forum.
With that said, Oxford Town by bob dylan should tell you all you need to know about that place.

The community/state mentality event was the people who came to counterprotest the Klan's protest.
Have you not seen the youtube videos?

I've seen Morgan Freeman on HBO shake his old head about your racism as well. PM him, not me.

I didn't PM you.
That was done by an admin.
Morgan Freeman teaches a class at Ole Miss.
He's from the delta in Mississippi. A place where racism is still alive and well.
Oxford is the most socially progressive city in the state.

How do we as Arkansans have any leg to stand on talking about other states with KKK organizations?
The Knights of the KKK are based in Harrison, AR.

No Thanks! Hootie gave us a nice 10 years of gaping holes in sensitive areas and not enough for off tackle running plays on 3rd and 30.

The subject school in the documentary is in the county adjacent to Ole Miss. 50 miles away, in Charleston. Nice try.

Bob Dylan was on to something with Oxford town.
The song was about the country in general, though.
And the country, as well as Oxford has changed alot in the past 50 years.
It's pretty bullshite when somebody who doesn't know anything about this town and this community point a finger, when 1. They have their own issues, and 2. They exaggerate the issues of another place to make them feel better about their own.
We can only be the SEC's whipping boy so long before we get fricking sick of it. Anybody else would do the same thing.
