Was that the same Mississippi state team that one of our poorest teams in a long time took 2/3 from in oxford?

Yes, but that's nothing new with OM shining during the regular season, right? We were an average team until the post season started.

Well then quit trying to compare your team last year with our team who played good ball the whole season this year.

So is your argument that y'all's team from last year was better than our team this year? I can spin it too. Last year we weren't nearly as good as we were this year. We took 2/3 from y'all last year. 2014 Ole Miss > 2013 Mississippi State

But were still 2-2 on the season in 2013, just like this year. But yeah our 2013 team was better than your 2014 team.

You just got finished saying y'all were an average team but got hot during the post season. You're contradicting yourself here

I did and that was dumb. Yall were a more consistent team of the two but we peaked and were playing our best at the right time. I guess i should have said our team at seasons end was better.

That could make for a lot more valid of an argument. Both teams were solid and should be proud of the runs they made

The state of Mississippi is pretty much in the bottom three in everything.

Miss State and Ole Miss are the poorest two schools in the SEC and neither school has won a big 3 NC during the modern era. Yet OM people constantly talk themselves up like none of this is true or that its only true for Miss State -- basically pumping themselves up to be something they most obviously are not.
All the while in the past 20 years only Miss State has played in a Final 4, only Miss State has played in a big 3 sport NC and only Miss State has played the SEC championship game in football.

We're both nobodies but the record shows that OM is the biggest nobody in the modern era.

Go to he'll OM. We hate your phony loser asses. Now get ready to lose your 5th game in 6 years to a school thats not worthy of being your rival.

You're wrong. State has been to a bowl 4 straight years, Ole Miss has been to 2 and the roads look bright for both teams to have good years this year. Both teams have been to Omaha in the last 2 years. If we are slacking in anything it's basketball, but just a few years ago State had a solid team and Ole Miss made the tourney 2 years ago.

We're not upper tier in everything but we definitely aren't cellar dwellers.
