I think A&M will over perform as well. Elko is key, and has been mentioned in the thread already.

The other big piece of A&M's future success is the hire of Jerry Schmidt. I only really started paying close attention to A&M when they joined the SEC. Under Sumlin they never looked like an imposing, strong football team. They played soft at times too. I think Jimbo+Elko+Schmidt should yield results.


My other team is Tennessee. Another team that played and looked soft under a soft coach/s&c program. They might upset a team or two, maybe. I'm not sure of Pruitt's political abilities as far as navigating being HC of a big time SEC program under the microscope. Will be interesting. I am pretty sure he can coach though, and I like most of his assistant hires.
