You’ve made an agreement with Alabama to stop slinging mud at each other (which is something State and OM should do). No one that recruits in the top 25 is anywhere near squeaky clean. But please, continue on your moral high horse.

In my experience most Auburn alumni make less money after matriculating at the loveliest village on the plain than they could have earned without bothering....

You can do the bait and switch if you would like. No one debates Auburn is the superior program. The fact that you’re trying to steer the conversation in that direction because you look like a fool debating the original discussion says it all. You slipping out of an Auburn fan’s vagina (or whoever brought you up an Auburn fan) doesn’t make you any less wrong on the topic at hand. The “my program is better than yours which makes me right on all subjects regarding sports” is an all time loser’s post.

Lol. I'm from FL and the only Auburn fan in my family. I went to Auburn because I was recruited.

You mean that he was paid more at Auburn than the NFL? I wasn't aware we were entertaining nonsense like this.
The simple fact is that Auburn hasn't been on probation in football since 1993 and we had one very thorough investigation in 2010-2011 and received nothing but praise for or compliance. We were aware of Kenny Rogers and Cecil Newton before Cam ever set foot on-campus in January 2010 and signed and played him anyway because we have one of the best compliance departments in the country and knew there wasn't a risk. Had there been, he'd have never taken a snap.

No, I don’t mean that he was paid more at Auburn than the Patriots. I was speaking about the actual discussion that your fans don’t believe Cecil Newton shopped his son for cash. People that believe that are lunatics or ignorant or both. You very well may have an excellent compliance department. That’s not even the discussion. You more than likely paid Cam. It doesn’t matter and not really what sparked the discussion either. Cam was declared ineligible for less than a week During the middle of the season. No one knew what the NCAA was going to decide on that, to include your compliance department because no one ever knows what the NCAA is going to do in any situation. The “we are Lilly white and don’t cheat” angle is tired, especially coming from one of the NCAA’s all time leading offenders. You do a good job of hiding it. Good for you. We need pointers on that for sure.

I believe Kenny Rogers conspired to with Cecil to shop Cam for cash and Rogers was the driving factor in that. Once Miss State was out of the picture, that ploy was dropped because of NCAA attention.

Of course we did, just like every blue chip player in the SEC. Just not in the Bama/Danny Sheridan jackoff fantasy that was going around in 2010.

I was being over the top with that. You bit.

Again, nothing for almost 3 decades. The landscape has changed tremendously since then. We left a paper trail with Chris Porter in basketball. There's no paper trails left anymore. Aside from a disgruntled former player with hard evidence, I don't see us getting into trouble like 1993 again.
Back to my original point, Cam would've been ineligible had he chosen Miss State. he knew it, Mullen knew it. There was never any evidence of those discussions with any other school, including Auburn.
Did Cam know about those discussions? Probably, but there was never any evidence to prove that. There was never any money uncovered, including at the infamous Church, which was investigated as well.

So you’ve been saying all of that just to turn around and agree with me on virtually everything. Good to know. Have a good day.

I am sick and frickin tired of hearing this crap.

On a side note, I just made my last monthly installment payment to the Cam Newton signing fund. It took me a little over 10 years to pay it off, but it was worth every cent!!!

You’re basically saying Cam Newton is worse 0 more games than Chris Relf and Tyler Russell
Their defense was really good and gave up under 20 points a game.
Thank you for making my points for me.
State had a much better defense than Auburn that year.

That's cool that you acknowledge you have NO experience. Self awareness is a great trait to have. Congrats loser...lol
