I don't disagree with that at all. I never argued that having a deep recruiting class is a bad thing. I do feel though that the insistence on LSU fans to dismiss this class as inferior because it's "top heavy" doesn't really fit with conventional football wisdom.
If you can get really talented players at certain positions - such as quarterback, OT, DE, receiver, and cornerback - then you can mitigate talent deficiencies elsewhere. That's why this OM class is a good one. It's a talent infusion at several very important positions, no matter how you want to spin it as something else.

He's listed as second string behind Mike Hilton right now. Will probably finish the season in a starting role. I think he and Hilton will swap in and out based on what opposing offenses give us.

Yeah, bit of a wasted read for a vandy fan, it was what it always is with LSU fans starting threads about ole miss, always rebcessed scared lsu fans, that was the motive of this thread, not a genuine topic about ole miss vs vandy 2013.
