What's the deal with Craig Drummond leaving the team? I heard it was due to academics but it seems early in th Semester for that?
He was a four star DE coming out of HS last year and an early enrolle. I thought he has been playing some so a year of eligibility is gone.

I dont have any insider information but it is possible the he was failing so bad already that passing classes this semester was already impossible. So he drops all of his classes and therefore is enrolled in 0 hours at Ole Miss. Like I said this is just a guess

He is going to fail out so they asked him to leave now. If he stayed through the end of the semester then he would be a 2 point hit against the APR,if he leaves mid-semester it is a 1 point hit. Ole Miss is already minus 3 scholly's for the upcoming signing class & they can't afford any more hits.

Yup.... he's going to hit the JUCOs and we may get him back a few years later.

EMCC is what ive heard. How do you graduate from HS early then fail out of school?
