Since when did Ole Miss jump to 17,000 undergrad?
A few weeks ago when the University announced the student enrollment.
That must be incorrect. It's obvious that Klaus thinks minorities should only count for 1/3rd of a vote.

North Mississippi is one of the less redneck portions of the State
I disagree. The hill country rednecks just sound different from the Delta rednecks.

I love Coast Trash since you can have a balling arse time with them.
This I agree with. I wouldn't even consider coast trash a typical mississippian.

Also, for the record, the AVERAGE Ole Miss student does not represent the state of Mississippi. I would argue that Ole Miss (as a percentage) has more out-of-state students than any other SEC school with the exception of Vanderbilt.
According to Klaus you can not use percentages to determine things like that.

Of course not. Percentages should never be used with percentages. That's like a double negative or dividing by black.

You are right. It was all the federal governments fault. Louisiana is not responsible for itself like the rest of the south after all.

Most of the snobs at Ole Miss arent even originally from Mississippi.

She never should have been elected. She won because she had the highest percentage of votes. And it's obvious that you can't use that.

No, just elect a one that will wind up in prison.

exactly. This is what I'm trying to point out here. Don't worry, I won't use any percentages, but you have to remember that Ole Miss is its own animal in that an overwhelming percentage of the school is from out-of-state.
Furthermore, to the person that said the Tennessee OM kids "couldn't get into UT" you are completely incorrect. UT/UK/LSU/Bama (for the most part) are all on the same level as Ole Miss.
Academically, the three SEC tiers are:
Vanderbilt
UGA/UF
The rest of the SEC
EDIT: those tiers are for the institution as a WHOLE. It doesn't take into account any outstanding programs a school may have (i.e. Engineering at Auburn or Mississippi State or Accounting at Ole Miss, etc.)

actually most view bama and lsu as peer schools. lsu is harder to get into than bama though

Ole Miss has a little over 1900 blacks. Congratulations on being so diverse.
Quick now divide that by the total enrollment and tell us what that is.

Seriously, where the frick do these people from Louisiana come off talking shite about Mississippi. If yall are better than us in polls, its just by 4 spots, so you have no room to talk any shite.
True about the state as a whole (Louisiana). However, I would argue that New Orleans residents have actually a foot to stand on when it comes to snobbery.

Those numbers are pretty old; it says tuition is 10,400 but it is closer to 13-14k now.
