Video Home System) The most popular consumer videocassete recorder (VCR). Using half-inch analog tape cartridges, JVC launched the VHS format in 1976 to compete with Sony's Betamax, introduced a year earlier. The cartridge's two-hour capacity held an entire movie and helped VHS supersede Betamax as the video rental market took off. there are multiple guesses of the origins of "Ole Miss" and where the student in 1896 came up with it when she won the school nickname contest.

they almost named their teams the "Ole Massas" to go along with the "Ole Miss" (plantation owner's wife). frick those assholes. I hope they have to change both
