I went to snd worked for SMS (Missouri State) Athletic Department so it is a learned hate.
It somewhat like my Arkansas hate growing up in Fayetteville. It's easy to understand.

Guns blazing and comedy. I don't mind MU fans just their teams, school, and campus.
